Staffan Österlind has been touring Spain with Moon World, a top-tier entertainment company, delivering electrifying performances across the Spain. Shows includes ROAD to HELL inspired by the legendary songs of AC/DC, Symphonic Rhapsody of Queen, and The Best of SOUL with singers from New York. 

There are also others ongoing performances in Spain with Spanish local rock bands and tours in Europe and Asia with Arrival From Sweden - The Music Of ABBA as well as shows with Wrethov's Brian Adams Tribute and A Tribute To Led Zeppelin across Scandinavia and Europe.

Staffan has mixed, mastered, and/or produced various bands and artists, including the live DVD's and CD's for Sweden Rock Festival, and the cover of the Led Zeppelin song Kashmir with Paul DiAnno (Iron Maiden) released by Bob Kulick and Cleopatra records. He also played guitar, Mellotron and Theremin on the Kashmir recording. 

Staffan has also mixed, mastered, and/or produced Stormen, Palth, Close Quarters, Erika, Marina Ammouri, and Ralf Gyllenhammar  Mustasch as well as Filippa Nässil ThunderMother and Soul Exchange, among others. 

He recorded and mixed his own band From The Sky in collaboration with Lennart Östlund, Polar studios (known for recording ABBA and Led Zeppelin), which was released in 2020. In 2015, Staffan established Fassberg & Osterlind Music Inc, a management and music production company, through which he has worked with the renowned band Close Quarters and Ian Haugland of the iconic band Europe, among others.

2005 – 2013 was a very active time for Staffan, as he had the opportunity to tour in South America, Europe, and Asia as the guitarist with Paul DiAnno. During this period, he also hit the roads in the US with Los Angeles-based rock band Black Robot and Willie Basse together with Adler's Appetite. Simultaneously, he explored the USA and Canada with LA Velvet and Tuff (under the alias S'ÖLIN), and even featured with Beck in his acclaimed video "Sound And Vision." Additionally, he performed at prestigious events such as The Emmy Awards in Las Vegas and the Hollywood Music Awards as well as performing in the TV-show California's Gold.

Same period he also tracked guitars for Def Jam artist Smokey (Sara Mancuso), played with famed hitmaker Stacy Barthe and recorded for hip hop/r´n´b producers Father MC, Tony DeNiro and various artists, for example Run DMC, Taryn Manning and Macy Gray. He also played guitars on Evan Ross' debut album.

He has toured eight countries in Europe and Sweden with the Danish rock band Supercharger. That year 2014, he also toured in Sweden with Paul DiAnno again. In the following years, he continued to perform with various bands, including Seven Strait (Rise from the Ashes) Forever And Ever - The Music Of David Bowie, From The Sky, and Soul Exchange, to name a few.

Staffan worked at the Guitar Center in Hollywood in 2011, selling guitars and other music equipment to various customers and celebrities, for exampleJohnny Depp, Wayne Kramer(MC5) and Seal. Lots of stories from that time! In 2011 he also worked as an engineer and producer in Stage Red Studios, Los Angeles, and worked with famed music producer Joe Solo. 

Under the alias Sycamore-73 (signed with Identity Music) Staffan is producing guitar infused chill music and compositions for games in collaboration with renowned producer Niclas Lundqvist (also known as 08 Pulse and LUNIQ). Additionally, he is working on music with the talented English singer/songwriter ALNA, their debut album Destiny was released in December 2025.

The Sycamore-73 project made its mark in 2023, when Staffan unveiled his self-produced ambient guitar synth music. The songs was first released as singles and then became the album, Hollywoodland, in 2025. In the same year Staffan started making, Micro Songs, music for Instagram reels and social media posts.

Staffan is an experienced licensed music teacher and has between 1997 - 2024 taught the guitar at Kulturskolan in Stockholm, music and English at Petersvenskolan in Helsingborg and at Höjaskolan in Malmö.

He taught guitar, sound engineering, ensemble, music theory and rock history at music oriented senior high schools, Nicolaiskolan, Helsingborg and Rytmus in Malmö, Sweden. 

Staffan has a Masters degree in Fine Arts (music), from the Academy of Music - Malmö, Sweden. He also has an Associates degree in Guitar Performance and Audio Engineering from the Musicians Institute - Hollywood, CA, USA. 

Staffan was born in 1973 in Finspång, Sweden. In 2025, he married Ulrica Maria Österlind.
